📝 Synopsis
High school student Akari enjoys playing the VR MMO 'FORGED CONNECT' alongside her younger classmate Ren, serving as a dependable Level 55 Priest. After reminding Ren to log off to finish his homework, Akari discovers that she is unable to log out of the virtual world. The game's final boss, the Demon King, suddenly appears and claims that all players are merely artificial characters created within his simulation, identifying Akari as an irregular rare character who threatens the world's balance. Overwhelming her defenses and manipulating her sensory perception, he forces her into submission by threatening to erase Ren's account. The next day at school, Akari declines Ren's invitation to walk home together, choosing instead to obey their teacher's demands in secret to keep Ren safe. However, the dark truth is that the teacher had hacked the online game with a psychological program to trick Akari into subservience.
